In the Behavior Analysis and Learning lab, we explore how behavior science can improve people’s lives. Led by Dr. Anita Li at UMass Lowell, our research tackles real-world issues like burnout in human service professionals, inclusive and culturally responsive supervision, and how behavior analysts can make better decisions around the use of psychotropic medications. Our goal is to create more ethical, equitable, and effective practices in education, healthcare, and behavioral support.
We welcome students who are passionate about behavior analysis, collaborative, and committed to learning. Lab members gain hands-on experience with reading research articles, conducting research sessions, assisting in data analysis, academic writing, and conference presentations. If you’re interested in joining the lab or learning more, please fill out the RA Inquiry Form.
