My research is grounded in applied behavior analysis and intersects with organizational behavior management, diversity and equity in education and practice, and applied behavioral pharmacology within autism spectrum disorder. I strive to conduct research that informs ethical, inclusive, and sustainable practices in behavioral science, particularly in training, supervision, and service delivery. Burnout, Job Satisfaction, and Workforce Sustainability
I examine predictors of burnout and turnover among behavior analytic practitioners, using both quantitative and qualitative methods to examine factors such as organizational support, supervision quality, and job characteristics.
Psychotropic Medications and Behavior Analysis
I explore how behavior analysts are trained and involved in the administration and monitoring of psychotropic medications for individuals with autism. My dissertation and subsequent publications have focused on education gaps and collaborative decision-making in this area.
Culturally Responsive Supervision and Equity in Practice
My research investigates the role of culturally responsive supervision in practitioner outcomes, particularly retention, promotion, and well-being. I develop and evaluate training tools and interventions aimed at reducing disparities and increasing equity in clinical and academic settings.
Women’s Representation in ABA
I am currently pursuing lines of inquiry on types of data that can be used to study the participation of women and other marginalized groups in ABA research and practice.
Instructional Design and Feedback Literacy
I also collaborate across disciplines to improve teaching practices, such as cultivating student feedback literacy, integrating contemplative pedagogy, and designing behavior-based training systems in higher education and beyond.
